If you have a Bluesky, Eurosky or other Atmosphere account, you can connect it to friendica.au. Posts from accounts you follow on the Atmosphere network will show in your Friendica timeline and you can interact with them from Friendica.
To set up:
1. In your Bluesky account settings, generate an app password for use with Friendica.
2. On friendica.au, go to Settings -> Social networks -> Atmosphere Import/Export.
3. Click Enable Atmosphere Addon and set other options as desired. Input your Atmosphere handle and the app password you generated in step 1 (do not put in your regular account password, it won't work). Click Save settings.
New posts from your Atmosphere timeline will now show up on Friendica. You can add new Bluesky contacts directly from the Friendica Add new contacts panel and they will be added to your atmosphere account.
If you want to follow people on Bluesky without owning a Bluesky account, you can use Bluesky's RSS feature instead:
1. Find the URL of the Bluesky profile you want to follow (e.g.

1. Find the URL of the Bluesky profile you want to follow (e.g. bsky.app/profile/albomp.bsky.s…)
2. On friendica.au, type the URL into the Add new contacts box and add "/rss" to it (e.g. bsky.app/profile/albomp.bsky.s…). Hit Connect.
Posts from that Bluesky profile will now appear in your Friendica timeline. You won't see replies unless you click the link in the post, and you won't be able to interact with it - but it's a good way to follow Bluesky accounts anonymously.
