pls could anyone who knows russian, tell me if this is russian writing?

with
native translation tool it translates to "Broadcasting", for both russian and Ukrainian.
otoh, at the #DeepL site it is recognised automatically as Ukrainian, & translated as "Live Stream".
it comes from this new project, github.com/R0STEFAN/Vivaldi-Tr⦠-- & as such is immensely interesting to me given i have wanted #vivaldi to provide tst functionality for years, & indeed their staunch disinterest in it is the primary reason i dropped
years ago.
however, for obvious moral reasons i simply will not use any product nor service that is russian. if i cannot confirm with some pretty high degree of confidence that it is Ukrainian not russian, then i shall have to abandon my interest in trying out this project.

Our apartment as renovated by "Russians" but nobody came from Russia... actually, I think Vladimir we got our windows from, is "real" Russian, living in Melbourne for ages.
There was Igor, an Ukrainian Jew, I think, Sandros from Lithuania etc.
But they all spoke Russian, often better than English, and it was there communication language here.
Unlike Angus Taylor or Pauline Hanson I don't judge people by passport or language π

in reply to petros • •@petros well, i can feel the burn there, & maybe it's justified
but i am so vehemently opposed to what putin & lackies are doing to Ukraine that i see no practical moral option for me but to boycott everything russian, simply coz i have no way of knowing if a peep or team doing some interesting #FOSS work might actually support putin.
a parallel example... there are a couple of linux projects i will never use, regardless of potential merits, because the peeps involved are rancid transphobes
i will never use the stupidly-named brave browser for a few reasons, but primary is its odious homophobic owner
there's a couple of potentially exciting new browsers being developed, but i will never try them once available, due to the homo- & transphobia of their Devs

There are the weirdest things, e.g. a former German PM (SchrΓΆder) working for the Russian fossil fuel company Gazprom..
If I know I adjust my interactions, if not.. well, innocent until proven guilty.
In the case at hand, I would have a closer look.

i know, & in the rest of my life i do try to live that ideal
i would if i could, but atm do not know how i can find out more relevant info here to help me decide
it's such a bugger, coz part of me is simply itching to try it, but my damn conscience gets in the way

i am busy hating Angus Taylor. At least he gave me an idea what to listen to while i do the dishes in a minute. (Courtney Barnett).
I mean, one has to make use of motherf***ers like him. Wiping the floor or something like that.
But thinking of it: He would just leave slime behind. So better not.
What a bore being you, Angus. i guess even your mother hates you.
