#FirefoxNightly 's #SplitView function includes a context menu option to open link in split view. afaict this has not yet made it into vanilla #Firefox [tbc]. it is simply fabulous having the added flexibility this provides.
i've been using the native #TabSplit function in Nightly for several months, but the obvious lack, til recently, of this extra option was very frustrating. it's thus great now to have it.

it is not available in #Friendica !!!!! wtaf? 😲 🤯
having only just jumped back, again, to Friendica in the last 36 hours, i am beyond pissed off at this ridiculous discovery. damnit! 😡🥺

in other words, to be very blunt, is this Mozilla's or Friendica's "fault"?
